Lynn Kirby - Owner/President Stimulus Advertising (Advertising Branding, Marketing & Web Design Solutions)
28 years of marketing communications experience which include, branding, advertising, developing market strategies, media planning and placement, package design, print management, public relations and creative direction. Packaging clients included Heinz, Carriage House Foods, Dow Chemicals, Farm Fresh, Food Lion, Winn Dixie and several others. Lynn has designed roughly 8,000 different pieces of packaging and achieved success for clients in a hundreds of advertising campaigns. His experience includes projects for companies like Lincoln Financial, AIG, Nationwide and many more. A former First Colony Life/GE Financial (Genworth) Marketing Communications Leader and Brand Compliance Manager he supervised up to 23 people and was responsible for communications, PR and marketing for several company units/products and distribution systems.??He also worked for Schawk (one of the world’s largest prepress company-Canadian Division). His responsibilities included sales of web-based applications that included DAMs (Digital Asset Management systems) and Co-Op advertising  and ad generation systems.


Gary Davis - Vice President of Business Development 
Gary currently serves as a business development officer for our family of products, a strategic leader for our Advertising Agency
– he serves as the liaison between clients needs and the internal deliverables required to achieve success.
He currently serves as the account director for USGE Solar, Benchmark Communications, Woodmen of the World, The Lynchburg Legends
ABA Basketball Organization and various other clients and projects.
Prior to relocating back to his home town of Lynchburg, VA – Gary and his family lived in Charlotte, NC where he developed VLE Marketing, Inc.
Founded VLE as a full service Marketing Agency to service the needs of clients in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry, Multiple Channel
Distribution and Sponsorship related activations.
Through a network of partnerships, VLE has developed projects that include a major
country music festival, a pilot TV show in the United States, Charitable Foundation work for several
high profile entertainment personalities and two
National Music Tours. Developed and managed traditional advertising campaigns that have included TV, Print, Radio, Internet but
always expandable
new forums including social networking sites and interactive media integration.

Cindy Vener - Market Research Leader
Cindy Vener has developed a comprehensive understanding of the issues companies in the life insurance industry face in her 28 years working for First Colony Life Insurance Company and Genworth Financial.  Over the past 12 years, she has held leadership positions in product development, competitive intelligence and market  research.   In these roles, her research supported the company’s development of  competitive and profitable life insurance products sold through multiple distribution channels.  She also supported business development and strategic planning initiatives, driving growth and increasing market share.  She was previously a pricing actuary responsible for the development of life insurance and annuity products.    
Cindy’s key areas of expertise include competitive intelligence, market research, product design and development, strategic planning and sales force training.  She has presented research at industry meetings and was chair of the LIMRA Market Research Committee meeting for 2 years.  She has a BS in Mathematics from West Virginia University.  Cindy is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP).

 

Mark H. Davis - Business Communciations Manager and Quality Analyst
Mark is a seasoned communicator and process improvement leader with a background in financial services, healthcare and print media. He has 17 years of communications experience, providing marketing support for such companies as Genworth Financial, Lincoln Financial Group and Nationwide Provident. A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Mark also has extensive experience in quality improvement and process management. His projects have addressed broker commissions, reinsurance and marketing material development. He spent the last 5 years driving process improvements in the healthcare industry and also operates a freelance writing and editing company.

 

Laura Lawson - Communications And Compliance Manager
Laura Lawson brings 12 years of marketing experience in the insurance industry and 20 years overall in marketing, copywriting and graphic design. She has led product introduction marketing efforts for universal life, term life, variable products and linked benefit products using a wing-to-wing, multimedia, comprehensive approach. With a thorough understanding of the unique compliance issues surrounding insurance company communication strategies, she is well equipped to help you develop a creative, effective marketing strategy that fits you and your company, whether your target audience is the end consumer or producers. Previous positions within GE Financial/Genworth include BGA Project Manager, Universal Life Project Manager and Linked Benefit (UL and LTC; annuity and LTC) Project Leader. Each required the development of a strategic marketing plans, copywriting/ art direction for key producer and consumer materials and the development of interactive online promotional pieces. Ongoing promotional work included email campaigns and print media series, which were provided to the client at agreed upon intervals to maintain a consistent, yet fresh, look and ongoing visibility of the customer’s brand over time.
